Honestly no reason to complain. Interesting place for discovering Bern with very knowledgeable and especially helpful staff especially with the great directions given by the manager. Central location, around 10-15 minutes walk from two children. Very modern design of interiors in comfort room.

The hotel staff was helpful and friendly.
The lack of an exhaust fan in the bathroom was quite bothersome, as steam accumulated quickly. The distance from the city center was inconvenient, especially when relying on public transport.

Arrived late in the evening, we were greeted with smile and suport (as we were stresses about our next date flight and prety much distructed). We feel secury in the hotel. Person (male) who checked us in was amazing showing us around the city on map, advisinng where to go preferbly as we had limited time next morning. He was helpful with my adaptor issue as not every hotel could find NZ adaptor. And internet service was excellent even though we had to pay extra.

family-run charm, quiet neighborhood, proximity to tram service
No air conditioning. Thin mattresses led directly to restless nights!!! Bathroom drainage issues took away from overall comfort!!!

Totally recommend for one night
Comfortable room, convenient location, the tram stop is super close to the hotel which makes it easy to explore the old town, and the breakfast was good with a decent variety of food choices.
No negatives to mention

Staff very kind and helpful. Good location for town centre visit, still very quiet place.
Room and breakfast ok, but corresponding to slightly cheaper hotels.

Access to central Bern via tram. Beautiful Rosengarten accessible by foot minutes from hotel. Mr. Andreas Balz was most helpful in providing directions for transportation by tram and on foot, set out walking itineraries for me. Excellent breakfast, clean and efficient room.
